Teeth Whitening for Sensitive Teeth + Giveaway

Y’all, I have such an amazing collaboration to share with you. I was asked to collaborate with Smile Brilliant and to say that I was over the moon is an understatement. I have always wanted to have a set of whitening trays but I would never spend the kind of money on them. At the dentist office, they are pricey. When Smile Brilliant reached out, I was so excited. I was a little worried because I have tried whitening strips in the past and my teeth were so sensitive that I tossed the entire box into the garbage. I was worried that it would be the same results and I wouldn’t be able to do it. Thankfully I was wrong. With smile brilliant, it was a completely different experience and it is amazing

I am an avid coffee drinker and I also drink soda. I know, I know. My husband harps on me about cutting it out, BUT I CAN’T. I drink plenty of water, too. From coffee and soda stains, I can say that Smile Brilliant has delivered above and beyond results without my teeth feeling sensitive. I will continue using this whitening treatment from Smile Brilliant. Now I am confident with my smile and don’t have to edit my photos to get that perfect blogger white smile!

How I got started.

After I accepted the offer from Smile Brilliant to collaborate, they sent me the kit that came with everything to create my molds and also my whitening gel and desensitizing gel syringes. Creating the molds was definitely an experience that involved a lot of laughing. Why? Because I was drooling like a teething toddler and my shirt was soaked, haha. So get ready to laugh when you make your molds and get yourself a towel. Once my molds were created, I shipped them off to be made into my custom whitening trays.

After receiving my trays.

Within a week and a half, my whitening trays had arrived and I was so excited to get started! I didn’t want to start off whitening my teeth for long intervals (the max is 3 hours) so I could avoid sensitivity. I started off at 30 minutes and increased in 15 minute intervals each time I whitened until I got to a time that I was comfortable with and saw amazing results. I whiten anywhere from an hour to an hour and 45 minutes. Which is a perfect amount of time for me. After you whiten you can apply the desensitizing gel into your trays and let that sit for a little bit so you can avoid sensitivity. I have only had to use desensitizing gel two times throughout my whitening journey. Smile Brilliant is just that good.
